I attended my first yoga class in 2019 and although I was not a physically active person by nature I was drawn to yoga like a magnet and before I knew it I was attending classes daily and sometimes doing two classes a day. I was hooked.

A year later I discovered the Yoga Academy and fell in love with the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice, enrolled in the teacher training program guided by Peter and Jude, and became a certified YA800hour trained teacher. But my passion was ignited, and I decided to participate in the Academy’s Apprenticeship Course which took my personal practice and teaching skills to a whole other level. I continue to be mentored in teaching the Ashtanga Style that I love and recently I completed a one-on-one training program with Jude in the art and science of Restorative Yoga. These two styles of yoga are complimentary – one being a dynamic practice and the other a more meditative resting practice.

Because the Yoga practices of asana, pranayama, and meditation have helped me physically and mentally in my daily life I like to share the benefits of yoga with as many people as possible. I believe that yoga is the gift that just keeps on giving!
