Meet at Sandspit on Saturday morning 8.15am for a 8.30am departure by Water Taxi. You will need to park at Sandspit.

Getting home
We will leave Stillwaters at 4pm on Sunday.

SATURDAY:

Meet Water Taxi at Sandspit Wharf at 8.15am for trip across to Kawau Island.

Welcome ritual: arrive by water taxi on Stillwaters wharf – meet greet, chat and chai while sampling scrumptious nourishing sweet treats.

Allowing yourself to fully arrive: 30 minutes on the wharf meditating (lying down or sitting) dropping down a notch leaving the fast pace  of city living behind by tuning into the natural surroundings – sounds of the sea, native birds soft rustle of wind in the native bush.

Making yourself at home: select your bed in the dormitory style sleeping loft limited to 4. By being limited to 4 people this unique retreat experience is of great value. Unpack your basic essentials and discover good books to flick through or become immersed in from the on site library.

Asana: Ashtanga talked through or Hatha – your choice guided by expert teachers.

Lunch: feasting in the good company of like minded people you will be treated to some of the most delightfully scrumptious vegetarian healthy food made with love by a Jude who is a passionate cook. Also you will be provided with a free recipe Stillwaters book to take home.

Nature walk.

Light supper.

Coffee or herb tea.

Asana: Ashtanga talked through (suitable for all levels from absolute beginners) guided by expert teachers.

Breakfast: healthy organic superfood breakfast.

Introduction to Pranayama with Peter.

lunch: Vegetarian.

Leaving by water taxi at 4pm for trip back to Sandspit.

Cost $395 After booking you will receive an email on the Monday before the retreat which will provide details of what to bring etc. Also if you are a current MEMBER OF THE YOGA  ACADEMY YOU WILL RECEIVE $50 DISCOUNT BY BANK TRANSFER.

The cost of the retreat includes nature walks, water taxi to and from the island, use of two kayaks, all meals and accommodation (including top quality bedding and linen).The accommodation is delightfully Marae style sleeping loft (everyone sleeps in their bed in the same room) lends its self to a day time retreat with a good book from our extremely comprehensive library.
