Mei first discovered yoga when looking for an exercise regime which could help her recover from a long day in the office and also prepare her for tomorrow. Beginning yoga changed her life and her time practicing became precious.

On moving from Taiwan to New Zealand with her kiwi husband, she was able to continue her practice and the opportunity arose for her to study yoga’s secrets in greater depth. She has completed a 2 year Apprenticeship at the Auckland Yoga Academy, comprising of 2000 hours of rich intensive training in real classroom environments, culminating in a YA 500 Certificate with the Yoga Alliance.

Her ongoing daily practice enables her to stay focused and energized, and she has noticed a positive physical and mental transformation on and beyond the mat. Mei really enjoys assisting and sharing the knowledge she has gained through her study at the Auckland Yoga Academy.

At present she is interested in the study of meditation so she likes to spend 30 minutes to an hour most days refining the skills needed.
